Steve Fearnley

Although a fairly new resident of Codsall, Trevor has been a friend of the church for a long time. His wife Jane lived and worshipped here before they married, and as a visiting Local Preacher, Trevor led worship at the 9:30 am service for some years. In addition to preaching, he has a strong passion for bible study and teaching.

Trevor is retired, loves all things to do with technology and has a particular weakness for guitars. He and Jane have a grown-up daughter who lives in the Cannock area.

Steve's earliest memories of Jesus is being taught in a tiny Methodist Chapel in Littleborough around 8 or 9 years of age. Moving to Fleetword, he continued to attend the local Methodist Church, becoming a choir member and a Sunday School teacher. After leaving university Steve married Sue and lived in London, with very little church contact. Since moving to Wolverhampton he has taught in Sunday School, been a choir member, and is the leader of One Voice (worship group), a member of the Property Group, and has recently qualified as a worship leader. Christ is central to his life, and he continues to learn more of the ways of Jesus.
